STUDIU DE CAZ I: Product Master Data Team At the beginning of March 2018, Mercedes-Benz launched worldwide new models. All the countries have to adapt the central product information in accordance to their market strategy. For the given models, you will check and analyse the differences between Germany, Romania, Netherlands, UK and Greece. You will assist the local sales team with implementation of attractive packages and analyse the product complexity across markets. Our business units are supported by cross-divisional functions like Spare Parts Logistics, Network Development, Finance and Controlling, IT and Human Resources.Our Passenger Cars and Vans are distributed through our professional retail network. For our Trucks and Buses we are also responsible for the direct sales to our customers. In all these divisions and functions more than 300 team members contribute to our success as the no. 1 premium brand in Romania. The central business unit “Sales Operations Mercedes-Benz Cars” ensures the optimum supply of Mercedes-Benz and smart passenger cars to the markets worldwide. That includes sales and production program forecasts, order processing and scheduling, coordination of vehicle delivery in accordance with customer requirements and design, implementation and operation of efficient processes and systems for the entire customer ordering process.This business unit has three teams allocated within Mercedes-Benz Romania in Bucharest to support the headquarter and many international markets in sales operations: The team “Product Master Data” is responsible for the technical & system data configuration and maintenance services for selected countries. The technical and pricing information is used for the configuration of vehicles, the issue of customer offers, production orders and invoices for Mercedes-Benz and smart passenger cars. The “Order Center” supports the worldwide order management functions to ensure the optimum supply of Mercedes-Benz and smart passenger cars to the markets. This includes financial and invoicing processes, order processing and prioritization of vehicles in production or distribution and logistics topics. The team“Market and Competitor Information” provides up-to-date registration data from worldwide markets containing Mercedes-Benz and competitors’ products. The internal customers are all the divisions Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars, Trucks Vans and Buses. These three teams collaborate with headquarter-functions and many other international markets and therefore offer an international working environment with great development opportunities.
